REVIEWS

While the Aging Information Network (AIN) is well known for its exceptional Care Management membership, it has an equally valuable yet underrecognized offering—its Information and Referral Services. Elevating the visibility of this resource could significantly expand AIN’s impact, especially for those seeking expert guidance without the need for full membership commitment. This offering is a hidden gem—especially for families who aren’t ready to commit to a full membership but still need trusted guidance.

Information and Referral Services (IRS) at the Aging Information Network (AIN) is are designed to simplify the journey of ageing by connecting older adults and their families to the right resources and support systems.

Resource Matching

They maintain a network providers and programs across cities, counties, and states ensuring seniors are matched based on their appropriate services based on their location and needs.

AIN was instrumental in connecting me to The Coordinator in Dallas Texas for Low Vision Services. “I received services from
Crystal Vision and Envision Dallas, last week. Because of my low vision, I was given a desktop magnifier which enlarges print
and it can also read the text if desired. I also received services from Claudia and kitchen utensils. Thanks to Roxana for
coordinating these services; which enable me to read” D Parker

The care management team at AIN is exceptional. They provided us with invaluable guidance and support throughout the
entire process. My mother was transferred from one state to another to reside with me. I was in contact with aging support
representative who gave guidance to me with services and resources that are available to me and my mom in the area. The
staff at AIN kept constant contact with us throughout the process.

I can’t thank Aging Information Network services enough for their support. ” My parents moved out of state and encountered
some physical challenges as they are getting older. Being in a new area and not knowing what resources are available to
them was a true challenge. We connected with the Aging Information Network and they assessed my parents situation and
was able to provide contacts and direct resources”
